I need to know whats the best thing start with immediately.
i have these books:
70-270, 70-271, 70-272, 70-290, 70-291
can i still use them for the MCSA and MCSE befor i try the MCITP that has now come up. and how long will it be befor these are retired. if they have no use now i have to start with what is currently used.

Hi,
You need to do MCITP. Windows 2003 is 8 years old and most of the exams have been retired.
Have a look at the Windows 2008 qualifications

Double dittos on what Ozzy said. WinXP/Server 2003 is quickly going the way of the dodo bird. Focus on learning the most current technologies.
