VBA - Get Language Setting may cause problems?- Germany/France/China RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello!

    I created a template which will be used in Germany, France and China. There is one part of code, which uses german operators (e.g. "Gleich" -> "Equals") for applying filters:

    FilterEdit Name:="VBAFilter RK", TaskFilter:=True, Create:=True, OverwriteExisting:=True, FieldName:="Text1", Test:="Gleich", Value:=txtRK, ShowInMenu:=False, ShowSummaryTasks:=True
    FilterApply "VBAFilter RK"

    1.)  I wonder if this will cause problems for people, who use an english or french version of MS Project 2007. I tried to use english operators, but code did not work.

    2.) Is there a possibility to get the Language Settings from current user? For excel works Application.LanguageSettings, but not with MS Project (also office.language.....). Then I could handle the problem with some If-then.

    Thanks for your help!
