Need to add reference in Biztalk Project RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to add a reference for ORU_R03_22_GLO_DEF into my Biztalk project. I go to the project name, click Add New item and choose BTAHL7 schemas. When the HL7 Schema Selector comes up, I choose V2.X as the message class, version 2.2 and message type ORU. But the only choice for trigger event is R01. I need R03. I see where version 2.3 has R03 as a choice but the messages I am receiving are version 2.2.

    Please advise.

  • Based on this link, i think the schema should be available: Maybe try repairing or reinstalling the HL7 accelerator.

  • I am wondering if there is a schema available for R03 for version 2.2? I have searched online and cannot find it anywhere. It appears to exist for 2.1 and 2.3 but not for 2.2. is this correct?

If R03 does exist for 2.2 can someone send me a link to where I can download the ORU_R03_22_GLO_DEF.xsd file?

  • Indeed there is no biztalk R03 2.2 schema.I think the easiest solution is to rename the R01 schema/root node(i see no real difference between the two schemas).

  • I cannot do a rename as I also need the R01 schema. Tried copying and pasting the R01 schema to R03 within the project but got the following errors:

Error 2 File ORU_R01_22_GLO_DEF.xsd has duplicate values for namespace and type name properties. C:\Biztalk HL7 Dev\Test Solution\ADT_Test\ORU_R01_22_GLO_DEF.xsd

Error 3 File ORU_R03_22_GLO_DEF.xsd has duplicate values for namespace and type name properties. C:\Biztalk HL7 Dev\Test Solution\ADT_Test\ORU_R03_22_GLO_DEF.xsd

So I am not sure where to go from here.

  • Besides renaming the file name did you also rename the root_reference and the root element name. ?
