keyword search not showing appropriate results in Search Results webpart in sharepoint 2013 RRS feed

  • Hi Team, 
    Created my own custom search result page. When i typing some key word in Search Box, The results are not appropriately displaying in Search result webpart.
    Is there any idea, how and where to write the query for that

    I am getting the results by adding the query text in Search result web part like below.

    1. Edit the search resutls webpart
    2.
    click on Change query button
    3. Then it will open Bulild query window
    4. Click on Advance mode (Under Baics tab)
    5. Write this query in Query Text box like this below
         {searchTerms} {SearchBoxQuery}
    6. Test your query by clicking on Test query button
    7. Click on OK --> Save --> CheckIn --> Publish

  • Hi Dhaya,

    Could you provide more details about your requirement? What search results did you want to display?

    If you want to change query, you can edit the search results page and edit the Search Results Web Part, then click Change query button.
