Known Issue: Version 5.2 of Microsoft.NETCore.UniversalWindowsPlatform delisted (all)

    Question

  • UWP applications that have upgraded to the latest framework "metapackage" will not be able to submit their application to the Windows store. This is caused by an incorrect version of System.Private.Uri being pulled into the package. Further, packages relying of the presence of clrcompression dll will see crashes at application launch.

If you're encountering this issue you'll see this message in the dashboard: This submission failed with error code(s) 1300. More info about the error(s) can be found here. With a link to: https://msdn.microsoft.com/windows/uwp/publish/resolve-submission-errors?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

You may also see runtime issues caused by a missind clrcompression.dll. This will cause UWP applications to crash on startup with a FileNotFoundException like: System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'clrcompression.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)
