Saving file with cell contents & date, then emailing file RRS feed

  • Question

  • I would like to find a code which saves a file with the cell contents, then the date.

I've seen some codes which add the date, but can't amend this myself to add the cell name before it.

Would like the Save As box to load up, so I can select the folder.

Once this has been complete, can it send off in an email or place in my outlook draft?

  • This post has been here forever. Have you managed to resolve the problem yet? I don't want to waste time on it if you have resolved the issue but if not I will assist.

    Afterthought questions:

When you refer to Outlook do you mean Microsoft Office Outlook? If you are referring to Microsoft web based Outlook Mail then I don't know how to do that.

Also, what version of Office are you using?

Is the file for attachment to the email to be saved with the VBA code (.xlsm) or without the VBA code (.xlsx )?
