Where is the metadata of a device copied into system of Win8? RRS feed

    Hello,

     

    When a device is connected to system,

    the metadata of it will be copied into a place of the system.

     

    Could you tell me where it is ?

    When the metadata package comes from the Microsoft service  the device metadata package will be stored here:

     

    %PROGRAMDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceMetadataCache\

     

    When the metadata package is copied from device the metadata package will be copied to here:

     

                  %PROGRAMDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceMetadataStore\
