Make macro available for all the existing and new spreadsheets RRS feed

  • Hello All,

    I've a macro in excel 2010 where user enters the customercode and gets all the customer information from sql server database on the spreadsheet. How can I have this macro available to all the spreadsheets? Similarly, I wrote a macro in Microsoft word where I was able to save the macro in C:\Users\Laptop10\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP. Is there any similar folder for Excel?

    I tried saving the Excel Macro template in C:\Users\Laptop10\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART. The issue here is when I open a new spreadsheet the MacroTemplate opens up. I want the user to open a new spreadsheet say Book1 and run my macro by entering the shortcut of the macro. Can anybody help me with this?
