  • Hello,

    I have an issue in saving a large files in SharePoint online.

    I have tried it many times and it keep giving us an error message as below.

    suggest please for resolution.

  • How big is the file and what is your Internet bandwidth like?  If the file is too big then you may not be able to do anything to fix it.  If its timing out because of your network bandwidth then uploading from somewhere with better bandwidth will fix the problem.

  • Since you posted this in development forum, I assume you are using APIs to upload the large file. In that case refer to the below article which uses the FileCreationInformation.ContentStream

  • Hi Rangnath,

    Please check the SharePoint Online software boundaries and limits.

    File upload limit: 10 GB per file. In classic mode, upload methods other than drag and drop have a 2 GB limit.

    Or check the "Custom Script" option in admin center.

    1.Go to your SharePoint Admin Center
    2.Go to the settings menu
    3.Scroll down until you see the "Custom Script" menu
    4.Allow users to run custom script.

    If the issue still exists, please try to create a new site collection and check if it works.
