Consuming WCF servuce from another machine in LAN RRS feed

Answers

  • Hi Aymen Tlili,

It will be better if you can tell us the error that you meet when you try to access the WCF Service from the PC B.

Please pay attention on the WCF Service address, for example you may use the some address like http://localhost:..... in the PC A, the WCF Service with a localhost address can not be accessed by other PC, so you should modify your address. If the PC B is in the same domain as the PC A, you can use the IP address. If there are in a different domain, please try to use the domain address. Besides, please also make sure that you are not using the namedPipeBinding, we can only use this binding when the client and server are in the same PC.

At the same time, please try to check your client and services config file to make sure that you have used the same address and binding in the both service and client side.

    Best Regards,
    Amy Peng
