return to normal view RRS feed

  • Question

  • Using access 2013

Somehow I accidently clicked something I am not aware of, and now my access list of objects is fouled up. I see one major list of everything, tables queries etc. all stuck together.

How do I get back to a normal view of objects? Where things are grouped into tables, queries. forms, reports, modules.

As usual, Microsoft software is completely intuition-free, and I can see no way to get back to a normal view of objects listed by object type.

    Any help greatly appreciated.  --Fred

  • Haha! every version of Access seems to find new ways to do things that didn't need to be changed.

Right-click on the title bar at the top of the navigation pane. Select one and see if that's what you want. Try them all. Once you get the one you want click on the dropdown arrow and select the grouping and sorting. I use Object type & All Objects.
