Handling both double click and single clicks for a XAML element RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I am getting the event

    void OnPointerPressed(Object^ sender, PointerRoutedEventArgs^ args)

from a XAML element, but how to know the number of clicks? I cant find any method or property in PointerRoutedEventArgs to determine the number of cilcks.

I tried using GestureRecognizer, but the problem is that I loose other details at Tapped event handler, for example the pressure property.

    Please help.

  • Hi John Rick,

If you use the click instead of OnPointerPressed, then there is a "click" event and "double tapped" event, I think this should fit what you need.

Since you want to calculate the click times, I suggest you can set a variable, when each time the user click the control, it add one.

    Good luck,
