swipe gesture on Xamarin.Forms RRS feed

Hi, I have seen that to emulate the swipe gesture in Xamarin.Forms I have to create a custom gesture, that's Ok, but in the Iphone emulator the swipe gesture is tapping and then moving the finger, is there a way to make a swipe gesture without tapping? , I mean only moving the finger in one direction?

I don't believe the swipe gesture on iPhone is tapping and moving. You might have been taking a different approach. I followed this git https://github.com/tkowalczyk/SimpleCustomGestureFrame. It worked for me flawlessly. see if you did something different.

    Hi Nishant,

    • I tried the git you mentioned but I had an issue with XAML https://github.com/tkowalczyk/SimpleCustomGestureFrame/issues/6 , I suppose Thomas will help me with it.

    • at least in the emulator the git you talked about https://github.com/tkowalczyk/SimpleCustomGestureFrame , the swipe gesture works tapping and moving, maybe is it an emulator feature? I don't have in this moment an IOS device to test it, only the emulator.
