Issues with Edge Canary Version 77.0.211.0

This morning I am seeing that when I click on a taskbar short cut to open a program,they are opening but not showing up without my minimizing Edge Canary. This wasn't happening yesterday. The only difference is that I enabled the Limited Play Flag this morning. I disabled that however to see if that was the culprit and there was no change. to compound the matter, when alt+tab does not work, and if I try to use the time line I can click on the open program such as Excel, the program (Excel) immediatley goes behind Edge, and I have to minimize Edge to see it. However if I have something like Reddit open I am able to do either and alt + tab, or use the time line. Is anyone else having this problem? Canary Version 77.0.211.0

You are posting this in the Asp.Net forum.  What you are describing has nothing to do with Asp.Net.  Go to whatever forum exists for Edge Canary.

According to your description, I've tried to follow your step to reproduce the issue but the behaviour does not happen.

When I open a program from a taskbar short cut with Edgh Canary open, the program will appear on the top of the screen.

I do not have to minimize the Edge Canary to see the program.

The version of my Edge Canary is Version 77.0.217.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit).

I suggest that you may update your version to the latest one to check if it works well.
