    We have SSL enabled site. Logged into System works fine. When we are trying to access approx 25 rows, System allows to display data. but we are trying to access a page with approx 1000 rows. We have used LinkButton to navigate through different number of rows.

    I get this message from Firefox:

    Secure Connection Failed

    The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

    The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

    We have also tried with HTTP site, but the issue remains with HTTP. We are trying with downloading file using HTTPs, but In browser status bar, we have observe "Performing TLS handshaking"..... which we did not able to see in any Developer toolbar option, neither in "Network" nor in "Console". Can anyone give us little information related to TLS. We have checked our System settings, It shows that it uses SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0. Is this configuration causes any issue? If yes, then how to solve it?

    Hi binjan77,

    Now that this issue occur on http, it would not be an ssl handshake issue. So please check the IIS log or enable the failed request tracing. If there is no log entry, it should be a server side issue. If there do have a log entry, please check the status code or FRT log. I assume there is something wrong with maximum allow content length in request filter.

    Please modify IIS manager->request filter->maximum allowed content length.

    In addition, you could check the execution time out in configuration editor->system.web/httpRuntime->execution timeout.

    If you were using ASP application, you could check the limit properties

    Thanks for reply.

    We have checked all possible tracing, i.e. IIS log, HTTPERR & Event viewer, but we could not get any thing.

    For failed request tracing, we need permission from Server administrators. We are waiting for that.

    Our settings for

    IIS manager->request filter->maximum allowed content length

    <requestFiltering allowDoubleEscaping="true">
             <requestLimits maxAllowedContentLength="2000000000"></requestLimits>

    Configuration editor->system.web/httpRuntime->execution timeout

    <httpRuntime executionTimeout="110" maxRequestLength="2097151" requestLengthDiskThreshold="80" useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="false" minFreeThreads="8" minLocalRequestFreeThreads="4" appRequestQueueLimit="5000" enableKernelOutputCache="true" enableVersionHeader="true" requireRootedSaveAsPath="true" enable="true" shutdownTimeout="90" delayNotificationTimeout="5" waitChangeNotification="0" maxWaitChangeNotification="0" enableHeaderChecking="true" sendCacheControlHeader="true" apartmentThreading="false" />

    We are not get any solution for our issue.

    Let me know if any other possible solution for the issue.

    Hi binjan77@hotmail.com,

    This link provide the steps to fix secure connection failed issue. Please ensure the certificate could be trusted by firefox certificate manager.

    In addition, you may need to enable the latest TLS on your server. IIS crypto may help you fix this issue:
