iOS HealthVault SDK does not show other data RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am implementing iOS app by using the SDK.

    https://github.com/microsoft-hsg/HealthVault-Mobile-iOS-Library

    The app works fine. It runs on my device and the default functions works such as

    1, accessing PPE server

    2, accessing my HV account

    3, get my profile image

    4, get my weight

    However, problem is that when I try to get other data such as height, it stops working. What I tried was creating xml format with the type id for height. The type id for height is 40750a6a-89b2-455c-bd8d-b420a4cb500b, so I made a xml like this.

    NSString *xml =
    @"<info>"
            "<group>"
                "<filter>"
                    "<type-id>40750a6a-89b2-455c-bd8d-b420a4cb500b</type-id>"
                    "<thing-state>Active</thing-state>"
                "</filter>"
                "<format>"
                    "<section>core</section>"
    "<xml/>"
                    "<type-version-format>40750a6a-89b2-455c-bd8d-b420a4cb500b</type-version-format>"
                "</format>"
            "</group>"
    "</info>";

    But, what I got from this request was

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <response>
    <status>
    <code>0</code>
    </status>
    <wc:info xmlns:wc="urn:com.microsoft.wc.methods.response.GetThings3">
    <group>
    <filtered>true</filtered>
    </group>
    </wc:info>
    </response>

    Do you know why this is happening? Am I missing something? If you have any comment, please let me know.

    Thank you,

  • Sorry, the problem was solved after I deleted the app and sign in with my app ID. I was using the old app ID that came with the SDK. Thank you for all your comments.

  • Filtered= true means that the data was filtered out due to permission issues. Your app does not have access to get height information on that record. Did you add height to the app rules?
