  • Question

  • The contractors in my current project work 11 days straight, no matter weekends, and then rest for 3 days. How can I set this rule in MS Project?

    Thank you!

    1. Make a 7d x 8h calendar by copying Standard and modifying the work week.
    2. Add a bi-weekly exception with the designated days off.  If the days off spans a weekend, then you may need to create two exceptions, as shown.

    Good luck, tom

  • With Google "microsoft project custom calendar" I found https://support.office.com/en-gb/article/create-a-new-base-calendar-674cb99d-f2b0-4e85-b07e-84105d540dcb which might help.  There are other links via Google including some videos which might help.
