Just adding a scenario where-in you can find 1 possible usage of Maps; say, you do some Reporting or Data Management after exporting your Plan to EXL on weekly basis, I have known a few Production Houses those run a Weekly Burn out EXL charts after importing
data from Project, so once a Map is saved with basic definition for say customized Resource Utilization or Task Summary Progress it becomes easier to run the EXL Reports by re-using the saved Map.
Hence this option is added to Organizer, so in case any other Project have to run similar Report then PM need not re-create a Map rather copy it from an existing project.
