What services are in Azure Stack RRS feed

Answers

  • In TP1, the available resource providers are Microsoft.Compute, Microsoft.Network and Microsoft.Storage.

These' RPs are running on Service Fabric (except Compute) in TP1, on the virtual machine called xRPVM.

This means that many of the different resource types that these providers provide, such as virtual machines, virtual machine extensions, virtual networks, virtual network interface cards, public ip addresses, load balancer, load balancer IPs, storage accounts and more, are the foundation in this release.

Which specific resource provider and resource types would you like to see as part of Azure Stack?

  • And in terms of the PaaS features in the Tech Preview 1, it is going to be limited to Web Apps. But note however that this feature is coming in an upcoming release next week.
