How do I access my dataset in Jupyter using the Machine Learning Studio

    Question

  • Hello

I would like to access my uploaded datasets in the Machine Learning Studio.

My code is in Python/Jupyter at this point. Usually I uploaded all the files in a folder into a list. My files have been zipped and uploaded to the datasets.

How do I now upload my data into a list in Jupyter?

    Thank you

  • Hi,

Once you have your dataset unzipped and read into Azure ML Studio, you can simply right click the module and open it in Jupyter notebook: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/machinelearning/2015/07/24/introducing-jupyter-notebooks-in-azure-ml-studio/

  • Hi Jaya,

I have tried this multiple times recently. But when I click on 'Open in a new Notebook' -> Python 3, or try to open or create any other Notebook across ML Studio (Python 3, Python 2, R), it starts loading but then simply returns to the initial ML Studio UI.

Aren't Notebooks supported anymore in Azure ML Studio???

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    Alex

  • I'm having the same problem. When trying to open a notebook it just loads a new tab with the ML Studio UI. Did you find out what's wrong?

  • I use the Session box Chrome extension which was causing problems. Works fine without it
