login user control

Question

I'm attempting to create a user control to be added to a page layout in moss.

I've setup FBA and all is ok, however I'm a little stuck when it comes to creating a login box user control for a page layout.

I already have a number of user controls working but these are mainly for navigation pruposes.

I've been looking at this example but I'm not sure how to apply this to a user control - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.security.membership.validateuser.aspx

Any help would be appreciated.

try to use the aps.net login user control
