hello am just starting to learn programming so i have some basic questions, am currently using windows 7 64 bit and i just download visual studio 2010 CR build, and was wondering will all my programs be saved in 64 bit format ? since am using windows 74 bit? or will i get the option to change the type of windows 32 or 64, i want to make programs for win32 environment, thanks in advance and sorry for the newbie questionFriday, February 26, 2010 12:20 PM

Yes, you can make your program target different CPU type. check this link for steps to follow

You will need to select the x86 platform option that Kaymaf referenced. By default apps are compiled for Any CPU and will run as 64-bit under a 64-bit operating system unless you change the platform option.
