POST action with HTTPS from scheduler RRS feed

  • Question

  • In a nutshell, I have a VM Role I want to shut down every night via the azure scheduler.

I have a management certificate installed.  I have a correct POST message body.

My question is how via the scheduler service can you affiliate the POST method which much be done with HTTPS with the certificate.  There are many examples of how to do this with code, but from the schedule GUI, there is no option to select a management certificate.

  •  Hi sir,

Thanks for your feedback! Currently, we don't add the certificate into the http request header on Azure scheduler GUI. We could only set SSL certificate using code.

I suggest you could  submit a feature request via this page (http://www.mygreatwindowsazureidea.com/forums/34192-windows-azure-feature-voting).

    Regards,

    Will

  • Thanks for feedback,I do intend on talking to the Bizspark support team about it as it would be a great way to turn on/off VM's wo using powershell.
