Visual studio 2012 is not installed RRS feed

    I had  installed visual studio 2012 before and after a few months remove it.
    Now I want to install it but to show 1.99GB instead of 7 GB

    I have removed visual studio 2012 ultimate completely and have deleted folders it from c drive and likewise temp folder and have cleaned the registry

    please guide me

    Can you explain what is the problem here. If you try to install Visual Studio 2012 can you install it without problem? Visual Studio 2012 will install some shared components on your OS. For example, some .NET Framework feature and some SQL server related feature. I'm not so sure whether you've removed VS by using the following command:

    vs_ultimate.exe /uninstall /force

    If you've used it, it will remove all components completely. I think then you will be able to see 7GB.
