Using the AfterUpdate_Event in VBA RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I did view the related topics before I posted this, but they didn't quite answer my question.  I have a userform.  I have two comboboxes (1 and 2).

Question: When a user selects choice two from combobox1, for example, I want comobox2 to show "not applicable" in it's field, and disable the list that I have stored in the Rowsource.  If the user changes the choice in the combobox1 to choice one, then I want the combox2 have a default field of blank and enable the list, stored in rowsoure, so that the user can choose from that list.

Should I be using the Change_Event or AfterUpdate_Event?  maybe someone can give me an example code?  thanks in advance!

  • This forum supports Visual Basic in Visual Studio version 7 and later (generally known as VB.Net) and not Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).  You are more likely to get your question answered if you post in the VBA Forum.
