US only??? RRS feed

  • Hi Jamie,

also the PUblic CTP signup on our DevCenter requires a Credit Card and it is limited to US only.  However, you could register for SDS access by registering for Azure services at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/dataservices/default.aspx.  By doing so, you will receive an invite to join the program, and no Credit card is required for this program.

You can find a detail about this  with a similar threads http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ssdsgetstarted/thread/4de0c98e-31cf-422d-8aaf-57c7b5d3ec47

As Kapil mentions, the Public CTP is US only.  The Credit card is for verification purposes only.
However, you can register for Azure services, the token/invite issuued there will get you the access you require, without any regional requirements.  There is a very slight delay in receiving the invite.  If you register today, you should have a token within a week (for SDS)
