Why my driver forced to pass HBA API Test (Logo)? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I developed a drvier for PCI-E SSD card which uses storport/miniport architecture.

But the HCK studio automatically detected the features of the card as a Fibre Channel adaptor and forced me to test the driver for the HBA API Logo test.

The card is not base Fibre Channel .

So the test log report "GetHbaInstances PCI\VEN_19E5&DEV_0007&SUBSYS_000719E5&REV_00\4&295f87c&0&00E0 not found".

Why the HCK studio automatically my device detect the card as Fibre Channel adaptor ? Does my drive do the wrong setting?  How to solve it ?

  • Hi Sree,

I see a similar issue, out adapor doesn't have Fibre Channel support, why HCK dectected Fibre Channel Feature on it?

Do you have update from the team?
