  • Sushil,

The message might be getting suspended so check the promoted properties of suspended message and compare it with the subscription as shown below. BizTalk log the errors in event viewer so always check the application event viewer for help on error message.

How to check promoted properties of Message

    1. Open the Biztalk Administration Console
    2. Click on the Biztalk Group

    3. In Group Hub->Under Suspended Items ->Click on Suspended service instances

    4. From Query Results select Suspended(Non resumable)

    5. Right click  "Routing Failure Report for "<ReceivePortName>" and select Service details from popup menu

    6. Go to Messages tab and click on message then check the promoted properties from Context of the message.

You can simply go to the send port properties page and check the filter in the filter tab or follow these steps to check subscription

    1. Open the Biztalk Administration Console
    2. Click on the Biztalk Group

    3. Click on the New Query tab
    4. Select Field Name: Search For, Operator: Equals, Value: Subscriptions

    5. Select Field Name: Subscription Type, Operator: Equals, Value: Activation Subscriptions

    6. Click Run Query

    7. Open the subscription for the required artifact(Orchestration or send port).

  • Hi Sushil,

Besides checking eventlogs and using BizTalk administration console you can instrument your solution to apply tracing/logging to aid you in troubleshooting your solution. You can leverage ETW (CAT Framework) for tracing/logging, see my post on it or posts by Richard (part 1, part 2).
