I attached a link from Microsoft that shows the concept of what I am trying do:  Use Visual Basic to add CalculatedColumn1 automatically to my Power Pivot Data Model/Table.

I am new to visual basic and have been using the Macro Recorder to get the sample code I have needed thus far.  However, the Macro Recorder does not show any code when I go into Power Pivot, Manage Data Model, and add the CalculatedColumn1 manually.  My function I am using is =Value(3) in the added Calculated Column.  I have no problem doing this manually, but I need to automate this task with Visual Basic.

Does anyone have sample code that will add a Calculated Column as described in the link and above?
