TFS Visual Studio Scrum Feedback API? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I really like the feedback feature in the vs scrum, I was wondering is there a way to use it with an API? I would like to include it in my windows phone apps, collect the user feedback and post it using a web service to my TFS.

    I haven't look extensively at the API documentation but any help to quickly access the "feedback" feature would save me alot of time.

    Erik.

  • Hi Erik,

    On the background, the Feedback feature uses TFS Work Items (Feedback Request and Feedback Response). Currently, the TFS API supports adding and editing Work Items, so you can already implement it. The problem with a Windows Phone app, is that you cannot add references to the TFS API assemblies. You'll need to use the TFS OData Service which recently became available for Team Foundation Service;
