format on export to excel

Question

Hi,
When I export a report to excel I see all columns as text formatted fields.
How does the formatting work on export?
Do the number fields get exported to excel as number formatted columns and general format in ssrs get exported as text columns?

Hi Arkiboys,
Base on my test, the number fields get exported to Excel as number columns. Because we can add number filters to the columns which are number fields in the report.
