Creating a global siganture to be appended to the latest reply/forward in Exchange 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have used EAC to configure message signature by transport rule. The signature is currently being appended to the bottom of each email sent.

There is no built-in feature which sets the signature to be appended to the latest reply/forward?

To do that would require that you scan and modify the content of all emails where an Existing signature already existed. For this you would need to create your own Transport Agent, the closest example would be the Body conversion Sample http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/bb204066(v=exchg.140).aspx

With Transport Rules you can create an exception that should allow you to stop the signature being added multiple times (but won't change the position of it).

Outside of these options there are plenty of 3rd party software vendors that have signature solutions that do this and more. (most of these will use their own Custom Transport Agent).

    Cheers
