Featured Stat not visible in the Windows 10 Xbox App RRS feed

  • I am testing Xbox Live Stats/Leaderboards. I have a featured Stat configured and published in the Dev center. I can set/get values for the Stat, but when I go to the Windows 10 Xbox app, I don't see anything.

    Xbox Live on my machine is pointing to my dev environment, so the Xbox app is pointing at my Xbox Live sandbox.

    When I go to the game hub page for my game in the in the Xbox app, The "Achievements" tab appears briefly, and then goes away.

    Is this the expected behavior, or should I be able to see the stats in my dev environment?

  • Stats upload automatically when the game is running every 5 minutes so perhaps the game didn't upload?  If you want to force it to push the stats to the service, then call RequestFlushToService.

    If you really want to debug the network traffic, then you can setup fiddler and watch it https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/xbox-live/using-xbox-live/troubleshooting/how-to-set-up-fiddler-for-debugging

    I am calling RequestFlushToService, and the Stat definitely seems to be saving fine. Later calls to GetStat return the correct value.

    My issue isn't with setting/getting the Stat, but rather being able to see what I think I should see in the game hub page in the Windows 10 Xbox app. I don't see anything there, even though the Stat is featured and my system is pointing to my Xbox Live dev sandbox. I don't even see the Achievements tab (except very briefly before it disappears), which is where I understand featured stats should be displayed.

  • I asked a similar question earlier.  It seems this is a known issue that will be addressed "soon".

    It is unfortunate that the Game Hub pages do not work properly for Creators game. Hopefully they do resolve the problem soon.
