SHA1 Does Not Match - Visual Studio Enterprise 2017 ver 15.5 RRS feed

  • Question

  • When downloading Visual Studio Enterprise 2017 ver 15.5 the MSDN site states the following:

    SHA1: 62EEE28995AA688EB3E073C32E5F10651DAA6823
    File name: mu_visual_studio_enterprise_2017_version_15.3_x86_x64_11100063.exe

However, the SHA1 and file name downloaded are as follows:
    SHA1: 35 a4 db 94 f1 ba 70 f1 43 3e 0f 1a 92 9f cb 45 39 35 7b f0
    File name: vs_enterprise__270645141.1513703520.exe

  • This is still an ongoing problem with 15.6.  Could someone please fix this?  I do not know if the file downloaded is correct or valid due to the file name not matching the description and the hash failing validation.  All files for 15.6 have incorrect descriptions/file names and invalid hashes.

Why have the hash and description if it is incorrect?

I will not install until this is addressed.
