  • There are a few areas that this question might lead, so hopefully you can help narrow down what you are interested in.

    • Are you asking how to create a meeting that a user can anonymously join?
    • Are you asking how to anonymously join a pre-existing meeting?

  • You can use the onlineMeeting resource to create or query meeting URIs.

    https://ucwa.lync.com/documentation/Resources-onlineMeeting

    It's easy to create a new meeting, or return a preconfigured one, by posting request data like this.

    {
        "attendanceAnnouncementsStatus": "Disabled",
        "description": "description of my meeting",
        "subject": "subject line or heading",
        "attendees": [
            "sip:sipaddress@yourdomain"
        ],
        "leaders": [ ]
    }

    The "leaders" data set will automatically have the organizer added, and you can add one or more attendees (or none if you just want to pre-configure a meeting for later use).

    The meeting should inherit the policies set in your Lync server.

    I use this method to pre-create meetings for new system users and email it to them - they can then use the URI to initiate meetings whenever they like.

    The link above has a bunch of great examples.
