  • Hi,

I m using smartphone emulator's windows media player to play audio/video files located on remote server using object process method. the problem is when playback starts the complete url is displayed to the user which is undesirable. Can somebody help me how to hide this url from user.....can i pass the url to window media player after encoding.or ther is another way of doin this?????????

  • If you don't need to show the main window of the media player, you can hide it by passing SW_HIDE to ShellExecuteEx function (via SHELLEXECUTEINFO.nShow). Otherwise you can use FindWindow to get a handle to the main windows of the media player, and then use SetWindowText to change its title.

However if I've misunderstood you, please be more specific on how you use the media player as well as the language and platform.
