MS FTP, IIS 7 - Can not create space with ftp account

Question

Hi,

I'm unable to create a user space in website panel if I try to create an ftp account at the same time. If I leave ftp account unchecked the space creates correctly however when I check create ftp account I get an error message Specified FTP account already exists on the target service.

Sorry, I did read the title, my fault.

If you are using always the same account to make test make sure that you did not press deattach. This option will delete the item from the WSP DB only while it will stay on the system.

According to this be sure that the FTP account you are willing to create via WSP is not already present in MSFTP.

this wasn't the case - website panel didn't like the fact that there was still a folder with the same name as the ftp account under hosting spaces
