Remove Holidays in Outlook 2010 from Calendar with script RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello ,,

A lot of users have got wrong dates for holidays!

It does not work to use the "MS Script Process Holidays.ps1" to remove holidays because all failing events seems to be "local"!

It works to add new Holidays with the MS Script ....

I have tested some VB scripts, but not got them to work
The scripts stop at "Set ObjOutlook = CreateObject (" Outlook.application ")"
Ofice is updated and repaired as recommended by MS ..
Grateful if someone can suggest solutions ..

    regards

    /Bo

All holidays have categories. Check their names. When you using groups, you can delete it one click.

If you must do it using VBA you should make loop, and check category field.

    For Each oItem In oFolder.Items

Writen code in Outlook, you do not have to create Outlooks object
