I'm using one of the templates included in Visual Studio and I wanted to know how to make it go to a page with a diffrent layout, like from one groupedItemsPage to another groupItemsPage instead of itemDetailPage. How do I do this?

The function you need is called "navigation". Please refer to navigation document:
