How do you query LDAP server using VB.net 2003? RRS feed

    Gang:

    In ColdFusion, it's simple:

     <cfldap action = "query" name = "all" server = "" start = "" scope = "subtree" attributes = "">
     <cfoutput query="all">#attributes#</cfoutput>

    We moved away from CF to VB.net 2003, now 2005. The MX server has a bug that doesn't return the objectSID properly without patching (not gonna happen since CYA):

    I have poked about the web, but can't get a query to work. It must contain the objectSID & the normal suspects.

    What is the basic code needed to make this work? I have no code to show as it would be the same code you would find on the net:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms180890.aspx

    I think I have the wrong domain for this C# example, but the NET ADMIN will let me know tomorrow.

    Thank you in advance for your prompt professional replies.
