Multiple .net framework applications running on one Win 7 system RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have two apps: one with .net framework 2.0 and other one with .net framework 4.5 so can both these apps run on one win 7 system? Also, i think i can run 2.0 app with .net framework 4.5.

  • Have you tried it to see what happens, to see if .NET 2 apps can run on Windows 7?  I suspect they would.

  • Multiple .net framework versions can run on one system so i think applications with different versions can run if the required .net framework version is available on the system.

Why do you suspect that 2.0 app will not run on Win 7 if it has .net framework 2.0?
