An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We have created a framework in C# Sharp using Telnet socket connection. The code will execute commands on Linux Machines using Telnet TCP/IP connection. Sometimes while executing these commands we are seeing exception like "An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine" . After this exception Telnet connection is lost and rest of the execution fails. Please let me know if we have any work around or solutions.

    Thank you,

    Bala K

  • Hello,

Thanks for posting here. This forum is used for discussing issues related to Office object model when developing VSTO add-ins.

I would move this thread into Windows Communication Foundation, Serialization, and Networking forum.

  • Hi Bala,

Could you share us code related with Telnet socket connection? Do you use Telnet command or Socket class? Is there any network issue while this exception happened?

    Best Regards,

    Edward
