MSDN Library views do not properly support printing RRS feed

  • Question

  • The new Library layouts do not include proper printing support. Occasionally I need to print out an article, but the lack of printing support makes that problematic. I think the TOC should be (optionally) suppressed in print mode.

The ScriptFree view is the nicest.

  • I agree absolutely with both these sentiments.  The alternates need a "printer-friendly" option, and I like ScriptFree too.
As an aside, I am constantly annoyed with websites that display contents in "frames" that have no button/tool to remove
the frame.  I think browsers should be designed to have this option too...

  • I agree, plus we need a printable view that does not print the lengthy URLs next to each hyperlink. It makes the document long and hard to read. The ScriptFree version doesn't print the URLs, but it does leave a wide left margin even when selecting the topic to print, which takes a lot of paper.
