  • In VS go to "Help" | "Add and Remove Help Content". You can download help content there. If that does not satisfy your requirements then clarify your requirements.

  • I just checked, if you have MSDN subscription, you can download 2001-2008 (covers .NET v1.0-3.5) versions of "MSDN Library" from the subscriber site.

    For .NET v4.0, you can install H3Viewer and instruct it to download offline content. (I didn't test it lately, but as of 2013 it should still work)

    For .NET 4.x (actually, it can download documentation starts from .NET v3.5), you'll need to use Help Downloader to download the webpages for offline use.
