BingMaps onscriptload callback function was broken yesterday for approximately 2 h between 20.30 to 22.30. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Do you have any idea why this happened. The librady was not loading if the parameter onscriptload was set. After 22.30 everything went back to normal.

  • I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing issues with the map control at that time. I know that the development team hasn't touched this code base in a while so nothing changed in Bing's side. Note that, if memory serves me correctly, the onscriptload parameter is not documented and thus not supported. If you have an enterprise bing maps license you can contact the bing maps support team and have them look into this more.

  • Thanks.

Maybe, there is some bug in my code that occurs upon certain circumstances (e.g. network delay). i will improve my callback listeners.
