Check if persistent cookie was used in federated authentication RRS feed

I  have searched for it a lot and still have no answer. Can someone please tell me is it possible to tell if a persistent cookie was used in the authentication. Reading all the properties of FederatedAuthentication and the Request object I cannot find a place which specifies this. The cookies and their values are coming out the same .

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in ASP.NET forum.

As far as I know, the answer is no.

Cookies are browser dependent and are essentially text files that contain information your browser saves on one of this folders for some websites that do send out cookies. It will be stored by browser and will be used while open the same website agian for signing in automatically. After signing in, this cookie is not in used and we can't  figure out whether this cookie is in used or not. So I'm afraid it is impossible to check if persistent cookie was used in federated authentication.

    Regards,

    George.
