Is it possible to show excel and word file in a windows 8.1 app?

There is at least one 3rd party control I've seen that can display Excel spreadsheets, and I think also Word documents. Component One has a WinRT Excel viewer control, and they have an app in the store that demonstrates it. I have no idea what the cost is. www.componentone.com I *think* that Syncfusion also have an Excel control.
