problem with prerequisites in VS 2010 RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I created a project with vs2008 and .net framework 2 platform and also created setup project for it

    i had to chose a .net Framework 2  at prerequisites , and i deploied my project installer ,and ewerything was fine

    then :

    I updated my project to visual studio 2010

    Now that i want to rebuild setup project with visual studio 2010 , i cannot find .net framework 2 in prerequisites

    and i dont want to use another framework else (3, 3.5, 4) , because I do not want to be the size of the lot

    I've copied DotNetFX from this folder

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages

    to

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages

    The problem was resolved

  • What platform does your project in VS 2010 target? "Any CPU" by any chance? Change the target platform to x86 and rebiuld.
