Data Extensions Printing.Print RRS feed

  • Question

  • The code below used to work on the previous version of Data extensions, however, in the latest version, the text that does show in the print preview (and printed page) appears to be some sort of Asian font, and just one line of text. Has anyone else used the Printing.Print command with success?

     font = Printing.CreatePrintFont  ("Lucida Sans Typewriter",9,"Black")
        Printing.PrintPreview  ("N:\_Project\CSV Data\PO No Issue.txt",font)
       Printing.Print ("N:\_Project\CSV Data\PO No Issue.txt",font)

    Plus clicking the print or cancel button terminates the program.

  • You are trying to print ascii file and Printing uses Unicode so when unicode reader reads ascii encoded file output is lots of "weird" characters.

    I have added BOM detection to printing functions and I'm testing Data Extension 1.0.200 right now. Hopefully I can release fixed version during this week.
