  • Question

  • Hi teams,

our server is WIN 2012 server, and OS in the VM(Hyper-V) is WIN7.

according to MS-RDPRFX, when captureFlag of TS_RFX_CLNT_CAPS_CONTAINER is off,

the server does not send the non-calista codecs packets to the client.

but we found the server still sends the non-calista codecs packets to the client.

do you give any ideas or suggestions?

    Thanks

  • Hello -

Thanks for contacting Microsoft Support. I am researching this for you. Are you RDP into win7 and getting this traffic or double clicking it and then observing this.

    Thanks

  • Hi Tarun,

I am sorry for replying late.

I connected to the server with FreeRDP.

it works well, but I do not understand why our application gets non-calista packets.

we traced communication packets and found the packet that the captureFlag is off sent to the server.

besides captureFlag, do I configure any other system settings?

    Thanks,
